With freedom in mind and faith in the integrity of nation, BVM (USN) celebrated the spirit of Independence today in the campus with zeal and enthusiasm. The benevolent members of BVM Trust Sh. O.P.Sabharwal ji (President), Sh. M.M. Vyas ji (Secretary), Sh. R.K.Behal Ji (Joint secretary), Sh. M.M.Bamba ji (Treasurer), Sh. Mangat Ram Thakur (Executive Officer) graced the occasion. The celebration commenced with flag hoisting by the members of the trust, Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi, Vice Principal Mrs. Navita Seth and coordinators. It was followed by the pledge ceremony. Principal extended her greetings to one and all on this great day and said that India has steered through many problems, since Independence, today the nation is standing on the front line with super powers in the field of science, technology, education, medicine, defence etc. Invoking patriotic feelings the patriotic song “Janani Janm Bhoomi Maa Virat Roop Dharini” sung by the teachers was really inspiring. Highlighting the importance of the auspicious day Sh. Madan Mohan Vyas ji urged the teaching fraternity, the architects of modern India, to introspect and re-establish the values of our cultural heritage and realize the pledge of reconstruction of new, vital and strengthened Bharat in true spirit, so that the nation attains the status of ‘Vishva Guru’ once again. The event culminated with Vande Mataram.
